danceGOLD ’17 brings 300 Northview students together to raise $19,401.91 for the Victory Center

Standard

300 Northview Wildcats danced the night away last evening, having pledged to stay on their feet for six straight hours in order to raise much needed funds for the Victory Center in Sylvania.  Between the hourly line dances, participants competed in dozens of games and activities, all with the goal of taking home the danceGOLD trophy.  In the end, these high school students raised more than $19,400 for cancer patients in our town.  Team Twist brought home the trophy.  A great time was had by all!

At 1 a.m., when the final seconds ticked off the countdown clock, these Cats were ready to take a seat.  They can go ahead and take a bow, too.  Congratulations and thank you to NHs, Mrs. Omey, all of the parent and faculty volunteers, community sponsors, and the 300 dancers for a GREAT event!
