Leadership Academy Sophomores host Superhero Bowling for chronically ill children

Standard

Partnering with the Ronald McDonald House, which helps families with chronically ill children, sophomore members of the Leadership Academy planned a Superhero Bowling event for kids in our area who simply needed a lift.  These Northview students spent time getting to know these kids, giving them a fun day to help them get their minds off of the challenges they face.  The sophomores presented each child with a cape at the end of the event, telling them that they dressed up like superheroes for the day, but they exhibit superhero characteristics every day in fighting their illnesses.  A big thank you to Timbers Bowling Lanes, Chipotle, and Marco’s Pizza for sponsoring the event.
