Wrapping up the winter athletics season…

Northview Hockey defeated Anthony Wayne in tournament play, before falling to SFS.

The LadyKats defeated Bowling Green on the road to finish league play.

The Boys Basketball team defeated Southview on our home court in front of a packed house.  Students filled up the lower stands with an ESPN College GameDay theme, and Student Council helped the cause with a pizza party for all Northview students.  The boys defeated Bowling Green on the road this weekend to finish NLL play.  Their tournament season starts on Monday at CCHS, as they take on Mansfield Senior at 7 p.m.

The Cheer Team and the Basketball Team enjoyed some downtime at a bowling outing planned by the cheerleaders.

The LadyKats Gymnasts competed at the NLLs and at Districts this past weekend at BGSU.

Congratulations everyone on successful seasons!

Project Unify Basketball Game plays before packed house

Northview students, those who live with disabilities and those who do not, teamed up for the second Project Unify event of the school year.  This time, it was a basketball game played right before the varsity boys basketball game against Southview last week.  A big thank you to Ms. Minard’s Government class for helping to plan the event.

What did you do this weekend? #GoCats

Mr. Eckhart’s mathematicians were in school working on the Moody’s Mega Math Challenge, where students are pushed to see what they know about math, but also tested on their ability to work as a team under strict time constraints.

NV’s SciOly Team took on some of the best teams in Ohio at the New Albany Invitational, and came home with lots of hardware, as the Varsity Team finished 3rd, and the JV Team finished 7th.

The Baseball Team gave back, spending their Sunday morning with the Lucas County Special Olympics’ indoor triathlon.

Way to strive to do more, be more, and give more Cats!
