Honors STEM Research scholars present their findings; several qualify for state competition

Ms. Nelson’s Honors STEM Research students have spent their year learning how to conduct scientific research, thinking big thoughts, and asking questions about our world.  They designed their own research projects, and submitted their projects this weekend at BGSU to compete with students from our corner of the state in the hopes of advancing to state level competition.  The students did a good job, as several of them earned top ratings and are moving on. Katie Cole, Kameron Clinton, Austin Diesch,  and Kayla Thielen earned Superior ratings and are headed to the State Science Fair.   Pauline Brenner and Tyler Beattie’s work was selected by judges from energy and medical experts for special recognition. Kameron and Austin also qualified for the Buckeye State Science and Engineerinng Fair. Way to ScientifiCats!
