Mr. Reed’s Engineering students packed up, and the help of teachers, parents, and community members, made their way to Black Rock, Nevada this June to compete in a national S4 Rocketry competition. These students qualified to compete in Black Rock through their competition last spring in Washington, DC. The goal was to study bird migration by launching a date lot at supersonic speeds 2.5 miles into the atmosphere. Mission accomplished, as the students came home as the #2 team in the nation. We are so, so proud of them, their teachers, and grateful to all of the parents and community members who made this trip happen. #GoCats
